We’ve been through a lot of ups and sideways with this site. Luckily we’ve had no real downs with the exception of one. We’ve been pursued by the torrent police, accused by conspiranoia geeks of all sorts of shenanigans and high weirdness, gone through two format changes, added and subtracted several shows, hit some home runs, triples, doubles and singles. Too many baseball analogies? Sorry, had to think of baseball, think of baseball…oh yeah. We were even accused of being a porn site by Google. WTF?

Times have changed and changed drastically. We no longer feel that the old Alterati style is relevant to this very pivotal time in human history. Times are weird, so it’s time for the weird to turn pro.

Alterati.com will be archived and merged into Incunabula/Greylodge by the end of this month. Alterati.com/blog URL will still go to a locked archive of this site, while Alterati.com will resolve to Incunabula.org/Greylodge.org. This means that all stories and podcasts will remain available indefinitely and the URLs for them will remain the same. A few new podcasts and a few of the current ones will be carried by the main site at Incunabula/Greylodge going forward.

We’re merging sites for editorial reasons. Focusing on one site will allow us to spend more time digging up alternative news chunks, music, lit, art, et al. for your enjoyment, education and  hopefully to  stimulate you into some sort of action.

We’ve had a blast serving up nuggets of alternative goodness and will be continuing to do so on the new Inc/GL site into the foreseeable future.

From all of us, to all of you, thanks for all the link love, traffic, and wonderful letters  full of tips and kudos.

Solipsistic Nation: Acroyear

by smallworld January 21, 2013 solipsistic NATION

Good grief! I had a four-day weekend and it took all four of them to produce today’s show, never mind the hours spent arranging and preparing for the interviews featured on today’s show! That’s the problem with the star-studded-ultra-mega-cool editions of solipsistic NATION, they’re totally worth it but that still doesn’t make producing the show […]

by smallworld December 31, 2012 solipsistic NATION

2012 has been a fantastic year for solipsistic NATION! In 2012 began streaming on taintradio. If you kind of squint your eyes you can see how solipsistic […]

by smallworld December 23, 2012 solipsistic NATION

Each edition of solipsistic NATION is evergreen because they rarely make any mention of current events. There’s no talk about the latest tragedy, the latest scandal or the latest war because solipsistic NATION is place for at least an hour every week where you can get away from all of that, where it just about […]
