Bare Your Bum at Bush!

Objective
To collectively voice our displeasure at the impending arrival of George W Bush in the UK and in doing so either sour the experience or prevent his arrival.

Background
George W. Bush has already cancelled one visit to this country because he felt more than a little unwelcome. The man is terribly secretive about state visits, but Laura Bush recently let slip that a visit to the UK is being planned sometime in autumn. Our aim is to give the man the bum's rush before he even arrives and/or show him exactly what we think of him in the finest British tradition.

Love those whacky Brits! We're helping them pass this one around the bloggerness, and so far have posted other places, such as Olla Podrida and Chapel Perilous, but if you live in the UK you might want to get word out about this one soon!

*L*M*A*O*
According to sources, the RIAA will not pursue legal action if infringers delete all unauthorized music files from their computers, destroy all copies (including CD-Rs) and promise not to upload such material in the future. Each infringing household member will have to send a completed, notarized amnesty form to the RIAA, with a copy of a photo ID. Those who renege on their promise will be subject to charges of willful copyright infringement.

UFO Fraud Hotline
Listen up you kooks, there's a new sheriff in town, and his name is E to the Third Power (TM)...

...setting the stage for the humble beginnings of the grassroot's movement to legalize and regulate the UFO Field. No one knows better than the members of E to the Third Power (TM), that the movement to legalize and regulate the UFO Field is imperative towards the preservation of the scientific truths surrounding extraterrestrial life, extraterrestrial origins, and extraterrestrial activity and technology, which has been stymied by, and often buried deep within, the UFO Field itself.

...after having survived a barrage of attacks both personal/professional, drive-by shootings, death threats, and alienation by prominent researchers (in the field), "that the UFO Field is not a circus and most certainly no laughing matter." There is a darker side where, to-date, it is lawless and likened to the old west where ignorance ran rampant and desperados travelled in gangs...lying, cheating, and robbing their way from one side of the country to the other, with the Federal and State Governments showing little interest in stopping the lawlessness due to their own private agendas, whatever those may be? "As Apollo 8 orbited 70 miles above the lunar surface, with Earth in the background, it filmed the ground below. At one point, a small, black object, tall and cylindrical, appears jutting from the moon. Just as the camera is about to pass by, the strange object clearly releases a jet-like cloud. It looks like a smokestack ejecting a puff of smoke. The cloud drifts to the right and then dissipates. Though the black object appears small on the screen, it must be thousands of feet tall if the footage was taken from such a high altitude. "

LibertyThink.com Obtains New Draft of Orwellian "Victory Act"
VICTORY Act 2: Police-State Bugaloo

[must credit LibertyThink.com/SiaNews.com for this exclusive find, with the link below; we were ripped off by ABC News and the Washington Post, amongst other sources, two weeks ago when LibertyThink's research director had Part 1 of the "Victory Act" handed to him by a Washington insider; only Knight-Ridder News service was scrupulous enough to acknowledge LibertyThink as the source of this news]

LibertyThink.com has obtained another draft of the planned police state legislation known as The VICTORY Act.

LibertyThink.com (owned by SiaNews.com) had the scoop with an earlier draft of the of the Orwellian-titled monstrosity and we're here to do it again. This is the draft the Washington Post reported on but refused to share with the hoi polloi.

A survey of contents and differences of this draft, dated July 30, as compared to the June 27 draft...

Asteroid Doomsday 'Risk' Evaporates after Media Fans Flames
A newly discovered asteroid that generated doomsday headlines around the world yesterday morning was, by the end of the day, reduced to innocuous status as additional observations showed it would not hit Earth.

Meanwhile, a whirlwind of media hype has astronomers and asteroid analysts arguing among themselves -- again -- about how they should disseminate information to the public.

Like the return of Elvis

One thing has changed of late: There is an increasing sense of sarcasm in the media with each new asteroid scare. Some reporters and editors are getting wise to the long odds -- or perhaps tired of having to report on them -- and doing more than just sensationalizing the data.

One story yesterday made light of the initial chances of 2003 QQ47 hitting Earth.

Sky News, a British publisher, said a bookmaker was taking bets on the prospect. A spokesman for William Hill bookmakers likened the 1-in-909,000 odds of doom to the chance that a manned expedition to Mars would arrive and discover the Loch Ness Monster there, or the equally probably scenario that Elvis Presley would reappear and marry Madonna.

Giant asteroid could hit Earth in 2014
LONDON, England (Reuters) -- A giant asteroid is heading for Earth and could hit in 2014, U.S. astronomers have warned British space monitors.

But for those fearing Armageddon, don't be alarmed -- the chances of a catastrophic collision are just one in 909,000.

Asteroid "2003 QQ47" will be closely monitored over the next two months. Its potential strike date is March 21, 2014, but astronomers say that any risk of impact is likely to decrease as further data is gathered.

On impact, it could have the effect of 20 million Hiroshima atomic bombs, a spokesman for the British government's Near Earth Object Information Centre told BBC radio.

The Centre issued the warning about the asteroid after the giant rock was first observed in New Mexico by the Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research Program.

Blaster virus suspect: "I am not an animal, I am a human being!"
A high school senior charged with modifying a version of the Internet worm that crippled computer networks worldwide said the federal government has exaggerated its case against him, and disputed media coverage that portrayed him as a computer-savvy loner.

"I have a very supportive, close group of friends. I'm not reckless, I don't do drugs, smoke or drink. This is the first time I have ever had a run-in with the law. It's hurtful to see the accounts of me. I'm not depressed, embarrassed about my weight, or a misfit," Jeffrey Parson said in a statement.

Making 3-D Chips a Reality
"The semiconductor industry is trying to make 3-D chips for decades now. Why? Because light travels on shorter distances, leading to faster and smaller circuits. But nobody was really successful. (Check here or there for example.)

Now it seems that researchers at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) have developed a new interconnect technology which might deliver electronic circuits functioning in three dimensions."

Five Malaysian states hit by blackout
"FIVE northern Malaysian states were without power for several hours yesterday, resulting in flight delays and chaos on the roads.

The entire Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) blacked out for about 10 minutes in the morning before power was restored in stages using the backup system."

I have a new theory. The blackouts are caused by the changing polarity of the earth's magnetic field in combination with the new shift in the suns magnetic field. Ya see, the sun flips polarity every 11 years but the next one is different. The axis of polarity of the sun will be roughly perpendicular to what it's always been. This change will be complete in 2012. The earth's polarity has been slowly shifting but the changes have increased in speed over time. This situation could possibly render all electrical devices non-functional by disrupting the flow of magnetic current.

So anyway, that's my theory.

Lutec 1000

The Lutec 1000 is the first free energy machine to be developed to commercial stage anywhere in the world.

The Lutec 1000 generator will produce up to 1000 watts of DC electricity twenty four hours a day, every day, which will be stored in a battery bank and then inverted to AC power and connected directly into the home or business.

The Lutec 1000 draws the power it requires to run itself from the same battery bank. The average house in Cairns, Queensland, uses only fourteen of the twenty four kilowatt hours able to be stored in twenty four hours by this method.

Christianity as Mythology
"The first believers in Jesus maintained he was a sun-god in the sky. Only later did he acquire a death, a life and finally a birth."

Kenneth Humphries has done a lot of work to research this site, and it shows. Christianity, he says, is the worst mistake the human species has ever made, and he makes quite a case for it with a chronicle of the early years of Christianity, and the Dark Ages which followed them; there's a lot of things about these eras your history teachers either didn't tell you about, or downplayed them if they did. The essay about Revelations explains that book's role in the context of its times and bemoans the fact that it has been so widely believed to be the script for the End of the World when all it really was ever about was the Jews in the Roman Empire who didn't get along so great with the Romans. "Revelations was a Jewish resistance tract", he points out, and what's more, he claims that it wasn't even written by the apostle John.

"Find the Man's Head within 3 seconds and you're a genius! According to medical experiments: If you can find the Man's Head within 3 seconds, your right brain is developed better than normal. If you can find the Man's Head within 1 minute, your right brain is developed normally. If you can find the Man's Head within 1-3 mintues, your right brain is slow in reacting, you should eat more meat protein. If you can find the Man's Head in 3 minutes or more, your right brain is a disaster... extremely slow in reacting, the only suggeestion is please watch cartoons to help normally develop your right brain."

What does it mean if you lose interest after 30 seconds?

Shadow And Darkness Visit Me At Night In The Back Room Of My Mind
"Dr. J.H. Rabaikal has been a Doctor of Hypnosis and Psychology in India since 1969. In 1973 he became professor at the University of Bombay (Psychological Faculty JKP), where he still teaches today following his own methods of modern Indian hypnosis (MIH). Using the method of self-hypnosis named after him - as described in his 1976 publication in the «Trade Journal for Applied Psychology»- he has achieved a breakthrough in an entirely new, contemporary use of hypnosis."

Battlefield Scotland?
"John Travolta is said to be buying a castle in Scotland, and the locals are fretting that he's setting up a massive Scientology center there.

The actor is in negotiations to buy Castle Lee, near the village of Braidwood, in South Lanarkshire, according to Msnbc.com., which says that he wants to turn the historic structure into a center for his controversial religion.

``The move is unlikely to be popular with locals or other potential buyers,'' reports the London Express, ``who would like to see it stay in Scottish hands.''

Travolta is said to have scoped out the place during a secret five-day visit to Scotland last year, when he registered as J.T. Smith and arrived with an even 100 pieces of luggage and a staff of 17."

There's an even better article linked here.

Deadly 'Drug Corner' Moves To Your Computer
"Philadelphia, PA -- If you're hunting for illegal drugs, you don't have to leave your computer desk to find them. A simple internet search will turn up dozens of websites that let you order your drug-of-choice for home-delivery.

In fact, if you search for 'no prescription codeine' through one of the standard computer-search systems, the odds are almost fifty-fifty that the first site you hit will provide an instant opportunity to buy drugs illegally.

That finding by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine will be published in the August 20 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association. 'This is unprecedented access to opiates, and it is relatively undocumented,' said Robert F. Forman, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry, principal author of the study, and a member of Penn's Treatment Research Institute.

Using 'Google.com,' a commonly used computer search engine, Forman and his Penn colleague, Ovgu Kaynack, BA, found that 53 of the first 100 web-page links generated by typing in the term 'no prescription codeine' were sites that offered to sell directly or indirectly opiate medication without a prescription, and 35 of those sites also sold barbituates, benzodiazepines, hallucinogens and other prescription stimulants."

What they fail to mention, is that the first of those sites were Google sponsored advertisements.

Don't look now, but alien invaders are in the streets
"I don't want to scare anyone, but we've been invaded by the pod people.

All those folks outraged by the duplicity, subterfuge, outright lies and those dogs wagged by tails in our last administration have been replaced by folks, eyes glazed, who just smile and nod approvingly, whatever this administration says.

The evidence is in. Bodies have been snatched. We should immediately start checking the backs of necks. Beware of sand pits that suck people down into the depths, where a scary head in a glass orb barks orders wordlessly with spooky eyes to big goons . . . . Oh, wait, that last part was Invaders from Mars. The pod people were in Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Anyway, you get the point."

The Lifter Project
The Lifter is an asymmetrical capacitor which uses High Voltage ( > 20KV ) to produce a thrust. The Lifter works without moving parts, flies silently, uses only electrical energy and is able to lift its own weight plus an additional payload. The Lifter uses the Biefeld-Brown effect discovered by Thomas Townsend Brown in 1928. The basic design of the Lifter has been fully described in the Townsend Brown US Patent N°2949550 filed on Aug 16, 1960 and titled "Elektrokinetic Apparatus", you will find in this patent the full description of the main principle used in the Lifter devices.

Kinda makes you wonder.
