The Stupid Skeptic
I decided to write about the debunking of the stupid skeptic after reading an article in the New York Times last evening titled, "A Russian Lama's Body, and His Faith, Defy Time". To give a quick recap of the story, a spiritual Lama from Russia back in 1927, announced to his students one day that he was ready to die. Telling them to come back and look at his body in 30 years, the Lama then went into his final meditative state and died. As requested, nearly 30 years later, followers of the Lama exhumed his remains and found his body completely intact. Burying the Lama's body again, this time with salt, the Lama would remain undiscovered until a curious seeker finally unearthed the Lama on September 11th, 2002. As in the first unearthing, the Lama was still intact. For the russian Buddhists, this was a miracle and a testament to the ability of heightened human existance. For scientsts, this was a task to try and explain why the Lama's body had not decomposed 75 years after his death. Explanations by scientists pointed to salts used in the coffin or secret embalming practices. But the most likely explanation, was that the Lama had a defective gene that caused the slowdown of his cellular structure after death.

Oh really?

The Dark Matter Flowchart

This flowchart (please see web page) was designed, around 1986, by a group of Princeton graduate students who have now gone on to (arguably) greater glory elsewhere. Thanks to Drs Todd, Tom, Barbara and David.
When this flowchart was written, it was known that Omega=1, Lambda=0, and H0=50. Now it is known (with the same high confidence by the same perpetrators) that Omega=0.3, Lambda=0.7, and H0=65. The situation described by the flowchart has changed rather less in that time.

WELCOME TO ANTIQUITIES OF THE ILLUMINATI

Here we are with a very short update: Version 5.2, which contains but a couple of items, outside of this preliminary effort at revamping the site, and making it more user-friendly (as long as you have the latest Flash plugin, and are past the Browser 3 difficulty phase!....)

For this particular revision we offer two items that are new (again, aside from the new Index and Welcome pages, with their new navigational bars and use of Flash text, featuring the excellent new Antiquities of the Illuminati Regular Script font)...

New GENERAL EDITORIAL, this time containing "A Message from the Director of the Work" directed at those in the Yahoo Group designed to be a part of this WEB-SITE, who are irked with us for daring to ask for Funding Assistance.

1. "He wanted to be THE BEAST! and so he was!!!" -- Get your "Free" Crowley-Mask, HERE.
2. The Philadelphes and the Disciples of Memphis segment from QADOSH: The Johannite Tradition. This time we examine some of the factors behind the foundation of the Rite of Memphis, and point out some of the important items in their own historical legends that connect to the Story as we are relating IT.

Featuring many items taken from Masonic and Esoteric sources.

Do not despair if other parts of the site appear to be ugly, or do not come forth if invoked.... the next couple of months we have set aside to fix different things, and to re-format whole sections of the Antiquities of the Illuminati website.
Love is the law, love under will

The ILLUMINATI Theme Song
-- To the tune of "Eleanor Rigby"

Illuminati...
They put a thing made of tinfoil on top of my door...
What is it for?
Illuminati...
Shooting a ray at my cornflakes to make them turn green...
What does it mean?
The Illuminati... They're watching me, I know.
The Illuminati... They're everywhere I go.

Illuminati...
Doing unspeakable things in the night to a cow...
Where are they now?
Illuminati...
Sent an impostor in place of the Popsicle man...
What is their plan?
The Illuminati... They're watching me, I know.
The Illuminati... They're everywhere I go.

Illuminati...
They cancelled Star Trek, The Fonz, and My Mother, the Car...
Are they bizarre?
You can't escape them;
Even if you take a plane to Nepal or Peru...
They'll be there, too...
The Illuminati... They're watching me, I know.
The Illuminati... They're everywhere I go.

I know that they know all about me...
They know that I know all about them...

Illuminati...
Hide their assassins' instructions in newspaper text...
Who will be next?
They're all around us...
Underline every third word in the Times and you'll see...
How can it be?
The Illuminati... They're watching me, I know.
The Illuminati... They're everywhere I go.

They're in the attic and the cellar...
Bigger than Hunt or Rockefeller...

Illuminati...
Go through my garbage and count all the pop bottles there...
Why do they care?
They're out to get me...
They're fluoridating my water from their UFO...
What do they know?
The Illuminati... They're everywhere, I see.
The Illuminati... And no one knows but me.

New Virus Dresses Up as E-mail
A new e-mail virus capable of turning infected personal computers into "spamming" machines emerged on Friday targeting corporate and home users in Europe and the United States, a computer security expert said.

Anti-virus software makers Trend Micro reported that tens of thousands of its corporate computer users in France and Germany were hit on Friday afternoon by the virus, dubbed "Mimail.C."

By 11:30 a.m. ET on Friday, there were reports of infections in the United States too, said Raimund Genes, European president of Trend Micro.

The firm had a "medium risk" rating on the bug. "We may be upgrading it to high risk if it spreads in the U.S.," he added.

The virus carries the subject message line "our private photos ???." Opening the e-mail triggers the virus into action.

The virus installs an SMTP, or simple mail transfer protocol, program on an infected PC that turns the computer into a type of e-mail computer server capable of sending out torrents of virus-infected messages, Genes said.

The e-mail has spread quickly because it spoofs e-mail addresses, making it appear as if the e-mail comes from a friend or co-worker. "It's an old spammers trick," said Genes.

The virus is not believed to be particularly damaging to the infected computer, but it has the potential to unleash a flood of virus e-mails that could bog down corporate networks, Genes said.

ABC News special asks if Jesus had wife

NEW YORK (AP) - ABC News correspondent Elizabeth Vargas concedes her network is stepping into a theological minefield with its one-hour exploration of whether Jesus Christ had a wife.

The ABC News special, "Jesus, Mary and DaVinci," is scheduled to air Monday at 8 p.m. ET.

"You can't talk about this subject without intriguing people or offending people," Vargas said Thursday. "We're trying to do it as respectfully as we can."

ABC screened the special for some reporters and religious leaders on Thursday. The program is based on the best-selling novel, "The DaVinci Code," which claims to be partly grounded on historical fact.

The book asserts that Mary Magdalene was Jesus' wife - not a prostitute, as in some teachings - and that she fled Jerusalem with his child following his crucifixion.

The story was kept alive for centuries by a secret society that included the painter Leonardo DaVinci, who supposedly inserted clues about it in his art, the book claimed.

The ABC special outlines the theories

Babel Magazine - Issue #1

Babel Spotlight: Adam Gorightly
interviewed by Victor Thorn

excerpts:

Q : I started following the 'zine/alternative press scene in L.A. during the mid-1980's, and over the years have seen your name pop-up in a variety of different places. Could you start off by telling us some of the varied publications that you've appeared in?

A : Yeah, I also started following the ‘zine scene in the mid-to-late 80’s. I’ve always been a huge Dickhead, which is another way of saying I was a big fan of sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick, whose writings really screwed with my sense of reality - which, of course, is a good thing. If a writer can fuck with your paradigm in such a mind-blowing manner, then you know they’re really doing some good work.

Anyway, because of this Phil Dickian preoccupation, I subscribed to the Phil Dick Society Newsletter in the mid 80’s, and it was through an advertisement there that I discovered Mike Gunderloy’s fantastic FactsheetFive, which in turn led to my eventual involvement with the Zine Movement. So I owe it all to PKD!

FactsheetFive exposed me to all kinds of great cutting edge mags that dealt with conspiracies, high weirdness, etc. -- this way before the X-Files was but a glimmer in Chris Carter’s eye. Among my faves at the time were Tim Cridland’s “Off the Deep End” and Bob Banner’s “Critique” — two great conspiracy mags coming from somewhat different directions. During this period I was pretty busy working on a novel called “Dusty Karma” so I never really thought about submitting material to any of these mags. It wasn’t until around ‘92 that I submitted my first article to a zine called INFOCULT, a piece called “The Disneyland Dead,” an expose about the many hushed-up deaths that have occurred in the magical kingdom over the years. This appeared under the pseudonym of Alice Fullerton-Bugg.

Around this time I decided to do a one-shot zine called “UFO’s LSD and Me,” which chronicled a UFO experience I had on LSD back in the late 70’s. I figured this would be a good way to trade for other mags. So, one day while thumbing through FactsheetFive, I came across a review for a zine that explored such themes as psychedelics, conspiracies and UFOs — themes which were all right up my arcane alley. This zine was called Crash Collusion. So I sent off my own zine to the editor, Wes Nations, in hopes of a trade, and in return he sent me some copies of his zine which was FUCKING GREAT, along with a letter asking if he could use excerpts from “UFO’s LSD and Me.”

Anyway, I said hell yes, use whatever you want. This, in turn, opened up a lot of other doors, and I started networking with a whole lot of different editors and writers who seemed to be sharing the same aesthetic, such as Kenn Thomas of SteamShovel Press, Jim Keith, Greg Bishop of “The Excluded Middle,” Miles Lewis of “Elf Infested Spaces,” and John Carter, the author of “Sex and Rockets.” These interactions fused into a network of friends and co-conspirators who, over the years, have gotten together annually for what we call “Kookouts”, where we meet at such locales as Sedona, Joshua Tree, or the Gila Wilderness, sit around the campfire, tell tall tales and make plans to conquer the world. As most of the people involved in this group come predominantly from either California or Texas, we dubbed ourselves: The Texufornia Illuminaughty.

As for zines I have appeared in, here’s a somewhat complete list: INFOCULT, SteamShovel Press, Crash Collusion, The Excluded Middle, Pills-a-go-go, For Dickheads Only, The Hungry Maggot, Off The Deep End, Elf Infested Spaces, Saucer Smear, Gray Areas, Paranoia, UFO Magazine, Great God Pan, Dream Scene Magazine, and FourFourTwo, the largest Soccer magazine in Great Britain. I’ve probably forgotten half a dozen others. I’m also on the staff of Dagobert’s Revenge magazine.

My work has appeared in the following anthologies: The Conspiracy Reader, Popular Alienation, Wake Up Down There, and Cyberculture Conspiracy.

On the Internet, my work has appeared at Disinformation, Donna Kossy’s Kooks, The Konformist, Conspiracy Archive.com, Doc Hambone’s Archives, and Magonia.

Q: Being that you've written for "Paranoia Magazine," what aspects of conspiracy theory most catch your interest these days?

A: One aspect is the conspiracy to trivialize “conspiracy theory”. Though I was definitely a fan of some of the X File episodes, I think the show began a trend -- along with such movies as Conspiracy Theory -- to trivialize the whole conspiracy research community, and make it all seem like a joke or something only crazy people buy into. Conspiracy theory, in essence, became another form of entertainment. I’m not saying this is all bad, either -- just an observation.

PKD, the Unicorn, and Soviet Psychotronics

PKD, the Unicorn, and Soviet Psychotronics

an excerpt:
Dick initiated his correspondence with Ira Einhorn due to a letter written by Einhorn that Phil had read in CoEvolution Quarterly in early 1978. The letter examined the work of Nicola Tesla vis-a-vis the transmission of electric energy through the ether without aid of electrical power lines. During the mid- to late seventies Einhorn had constructed a vast network of contacts with the intent of creating, as he described it, "an international conspiracy to make the planet more livable." Among these contacts was Lt. Col. Thomas Bearden, author of several books including Fer-De-Lance: A Briefing on Soviet Scalar Electromagnetic Weapons, which contends that the Russians - through the use of this hidden technology that Tesla discovered around the turn of the century - had been not only modifying US weather patterns with electromagnetic waves but had also developed a "death ray" they were using in the late seventies/early eighties in Afghanistan

How to Build a Machine That Will Change Your Notion of Reality
Here is the story (short version)

From 1993 to 1996 I was involved in research at a Government facility on developing a machine capable of materializing or manifesting objects , circumstances and acclerating thought forms.

Research took place using lottery numbers. Simply put, the machine (which I'll explain later) was activated to create the next days lottery numbers. The machine worked on frequency, so a frequency was put up for a number of hours or days, sometimes seconds and than the next day the lottery would be drawn and the numbers would appear.

Now don't get greedy here, the lottery number system was used because it is totally random and a great tester for tuning the machine and getting it to perform as engineered.

Over time the results were up to %99 in materializing the lottery numbers for the next day. Once that was achieved the machine was deemed operational and lottery number research materialization was abandoned. Words cannot explain the feeling when you materialize the numbers you set the frequency for. It is like turning on a light switch and bam! they appear out of thin air!

Now the fun part starts.

Talking To Yourself Is Good For You
Talking to yourself is considered a sign of insanity, but it might keep you from going crazy.

Swedish psychotherapist Per Naroskin speaks very highly about the benefits of "talking loudly to oneself."

Naroskin says talking out loud to no one in particular forces you to listen to yourself and, as a result, people work more efficiently and sleep better and develop talents they never realized they had.

If that doesn't leave you speechless, Naroskin says the talking technique is even better if you use lots of crazy accents and funny voices when you babble.

If talking to yourself is too lonely, Naroskin suggests starting out by gabbing with a pet, a plant, a car or, like Tom Hanks in "Castaway," a volleyball.

Ashcroft's Attack on Greenpeace
For years we have worked to end environmental destruction and human rights abuses in Brazil's Amazon rainforest. Destruction of these habitats threatens clean air and water, animal and plant species, and the people and cultures who depend on forests for their way of life. Large criminal enterprises, using bribery, extortion, slavery and murder, continue to ravage the Amazon and export their contraband.

Last year, two Greenpeace activists climbed aboard a ship carrying Amazon mahogany wood. They held a banner that said "President Bush: Stop Illegal Logging."

Instead of halting the shipment, the government is prosecuting Greenpeace in federal court in Miami. It has charged Greenpeace under an obscure 19th-century law never intended for this purpose. A trial is now set for December. [more]

With our tax dollars, Ashcroft fights his own fundamentalist wars on Tommy Chong, people who fight hard for clean air and water, and bare-breasted statues. Fundamentalist religion = the true enemy of the people.

Halloween Letter from Jack Chick

From the desk of
Jack Chick:

This Halloween, millions of lost kids will come to the front doors of Christians… asking for a treat. What an amazing witnessing opportunity. In a single night, God’s people could witness to millions of hurting, lost children who desperately need the gospel simply by dropping a Chick tract or two into each Trick-or-Treat bag.

7 reasons you should use Chick tracts on Halloween

Get the gospel to all the lost kids (and their parents) in your neighborhood.
Reach people you couldn't reach any other time of year.
It's easy! Just drop Chick tracts into waiting, open bags.
It's convenient! You don't even have to leave home.
It's fun! Kids love them. Many will thank you for the unique gift.
It's a great way to train your own kids to use this witnessing opportunity.
You'll rejoice, knowing you turned a pagan holiday into a witnessing time.

STOP CLOWN PORN NOW DOT ORG: ACT!

Clown Porn

In contrast to the glitter and glamour associated with pornography, performing porn-clowns' lives are pretty miserable. Because clowns do not naturally "ride" bicycles, stand on their "heads," or "jump through rings of fire," whips, electric prods, and other tools are often used to force them to perform.

The smaller and poorer the blue movie production, the more limited the clowns' access may be to water, food, and hairdressing care. But whatever the size of a clownsploitation flick, the clowns inevitably suffer.

The more aggressive rodeo clowns usually live and travel in cages 4 feet by 6 feet by 5 feet. Early in their training, according to Peter Ringling North in his book The Circus Kings , the big clowns are "chained to their pedestals, and ropes are put around their necks to choke them down. They work from fear." They may have their noses broken while being trained or have their oversized shoes "hotfooted" to force them to stand on their hands.

A Hudsucker News reporter who traveled with Dingling Bros. Video reported in an article dated August 8, 1986, that the sound of a trainer's club repeatedly striking a whiteface, as well as the whiteface's screams, could be heard outside the studio building. He noted that both remarkably resembled a small Honda's horn.

Because of the enormous size and strength of clowns' unexpected and hilarious noises, most trainers rely on gags and fear to make them obey. Some clowns spend almost their whole lives in gags. The well-known Jumbo lived 20 years in a ball-gag constructed of his own father's juggling equipment. In the wild, the life expectancy of clowns is the same as ours. When held captive in the clown-porn industry, many clowns die prematurely of disease, the stress of confinement, and non-hypoallergenic VDs.

Creepy Clown Gallery

It has been several years since Creepy first elbowed his way into the world of online computer graphics and boldly proclaimed that he had his eye on nothing less than the goal of UTTER PERVASIVENESS. Well, as anyone who has been following his exploits can attest, he has more than made good on his word. Creepy has found his way into literally thousands of computer generated images, turning up in every imaginable setting and situation, as well as many that begin where imagination leaves off.
We have learned a lot about Creepy over the years. Did you know, for example, that he seems to have been around at the time of the Big Bang that gave birth to the universe? There are scads of images that place him in the farthest-flung corners of that universe, where he seems to have been deified by the native populations of numerous planets. In many of these far-off places, the present-day populations bear a marked physical resemblance to the clown, since wherever he has acquired adoring followers, he has encouraged and presided over a ritual ceremony to initiate virgins into the full bloom of femalehood.

Neil Armstrong The Awful Truth
Neil Armstrong The Awful Truth

In 1969, Neil Armstrong made history by becoming the first man to walk on the moon, uttering the immortal phrase, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Or did he? Previously suppressed footage discovered by blogjam shows that Armstrong's reaction was a great deal more uninhibited than history suggests, and that a hasty editing job was needed to prepare the astronaut's moment of glory for broadcast.

So here, for the first time, is the unedited NASA film from the triumphant Apollo 11 mission.

Eyes Forced Shut: Who killed Stanley Kubrick?
Kubrick's swan song, Eyes Wide Shut, reveals kinky sex-magick and suspicious slayings that, in retrospect, hardly seem like Tom Cruise blockbuster material. Conspiracy rumors argue the film earned Kubrick his death certificate: Considering his career of anti-authoritarian auteurship, it may be a lifetime achievement award.

If anyone deserved to be whacked by The Man, it was Kubrick. Oliver Stone gets the "conspiracy" smear for his flick about the death of John-John's daddy, but it's Kubrick who was the true cinematic expositor of the secret and suppressed. It's incredible he was allowed to keep a camera.

What's the Frequency, Kenneth?

On the evening of October 4th, 1986, Dan Rather was attacked by William Tager who, contrary to popular belief, had a very good reason for attacking Rather. Bill Tager was born in the year 2265. Bill Tager is from the future. Bill Tager is not from our planet. Well, technically he is from earth but not from our earth. Tager comes from an earth in a parallel universe and was sent here by the government of his planet.

2012: A Gue§§ §hot through Hyper§pace
A rant by valis
The complexification of Novelty is "insofar" as I can tell the primary theoretical "landmark" as to what can be anchored down, in the form of organized thought; to be observed on the way into the untamed chaotic dynamic adaptive system (aka The Tide) called (for lack of a better term); the complexification of novelty and present reality.

Through these tiny peepholes, we have been gazing from afar. We have been altered, genetically, and sociologically, in order to match the flow of an exponential form of novelty, propelling us towards the future, albeit a future that looks much more like the past than the future, but one that fits only the framework of a condensed information source acting as an attractor, pulling us nearer, closer, as we observe from the dispporortionate levels of complexification and what is also known as the 4th dimension: time.

Not to be confused with the 5th or the 11th dimension, which must be a certainty in order for the micro/macro complexification of "String Theory" to be more than just a philosophy, but to fulfill the required defintions to be a science.

I percieve the "event" we are all talking about here, (re: T.M's Timewave) as the actualization of the understanding of a "Unification"- type theory "of everything" that could behave like the pinnacle event in the next transformation of the human species that, I believe, will look, in retrospect, much like the life of a catapilliar, who instantaneously becomes unrecognizable to himself.

When the underlying scientific approach to phsyics is that in which we have known all along; that ALL matter is energy vibrating at a certain frequency, and in the 4-8% of ordinary reality that dark matter and dark energy have left room for; it is all made out of the same stuff that lights the stars at night; that makes a B-note sound like a B-note, and makes a pancake taste good and lets us fully comprehend which dimension of existence made it taste so good.

But of course, I, and others could be wrong...

FLYING SERPENTS AND DRAGONS
FLYING SERPENTS AND DRAGONS

This electronic transcription of FLYING SERPENTS AND DRAGONS by R.A. Boulay was first published privately by Galaxy Books of Clearwater, Florida, in 1990. The first edition is now out of print, and this electronic version is by no means an attempt to infringe upon the author's original copyright privileges; it is merely an effort to preserve this important earlier version, with my personal commentary, for posterity's archives.

The Book of the Damned
The Book of the Damned
A Hypertext Edition of Charles Hoy Fort's Book
Edited and Annotated by Mr. X

The Book of the Damned was the first iconoclastic book written by Charles Hoy Fort and was first published in 1919. As the original edition is rare, and, as the book contains many errors, I am making this hypertext edition available with some of my notes. This work is not completed, and I am still seeking out many more of Fort's sources; but, I hope that others may find this a helpful and ready copy for their own reference use. All of the footnotes are the editor's work, the text is that of the 1919 edition, and, the original pagination is identified within square brackets.

Theme park investigates mysteries of the world
Theme park investigates mysteries of the world

Best-selling author Erich von Däniken has opened a theme park in Interlaken, enabling mere mortals to have close encounters with his fantastic theories.

Housed in replica pyramids, Indian temples and golden planets, “Mysteries of the World” showcases past cultures and their possible contact with extraterrestrials.

Von Däniken’s books, including “Chariots of the Gods”, argue that knowledge gained through contact with aliens enabled the ancient Egyptians, for example, to construct their giant pyramids.

However, the author told swissinfo: “This is not a UFO park.”

The aim of the park, according to the 68-year-old author, is to expose people to some of the world’s great mysteries - people “who have neither the time nor the money to travel to the original sites themselves”.

Rael and The Masonic New World Order

In this article I have established many common reference points between the Raelian cult and Freemasonry.

Raelian main logo using symbolism common to Freemasonry

Rael's name being a mixture of Egyptian paganism and Judaism which is exactly what Freemasonry combines

The Raelian call for a New World Order under previously published Masonic guidelines

The use of the words Order and Chaos which is similar to Freemasonry's Order out of Chaos

The Raelian plan to abolish money according to the Masonic plan

The use of the Masonic phrase 'Golden Age'

The importance placed upon the Kabalah, called the book closest to the truth, which is the foundation of
Freemasonry

The Raelian claim of Freemason Joseph Smith as a true prophet

Masonic capstone symbolism on Raelian book cover

Raelian plan to rebuild Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem which is a long running plan of Illumined Freemasons

The Voynich Manuscript and the Necronomicon
The Voynich Manuscript and the Necronomicon

excerpts:
The Voynich Manuscript first enters the historical record at the court of the Holy Roman Emperor Rudolph II. Rudolph (1552-1612) was a weak ruler who allowed affairs of state to fall into disarray until the Hapsburg archdukes threw their support behind his brother (and soon-to-be heir) Matthias. For Rudolph, political concerns were much less important than science and alchemy. His court in Prague became a magnet for learned men – including the astronomer Johannes Kepler – and charlatans from across Europe, and individuals were constantly rising into and being cast out of the Emperor's favor. It was in this atmosphere that the Emperor purchased the Voynich Manuscript from an unknown individual for 600 ducats – an unbelievable sum for a book that no one at the court could read.

The link between those two mysterious manuscripts – Voynich's book and the Necronomicon - was first hypothesized in the Cthulhu Mythos fiction of the English author and critic Colin Wilson. Wilson had been treated Lovecraft quite critically in his book The Strength to Dream, and wrote his first Mythos novel, The Mind Parasites, in response to August Derleth's challenge to write such a book. Wilson wrote relatively few Mythos stories, but most fans regard his tales as classics in the genre.

The first time Wilson mentioned the Voynich Manuscript was in his short story "The Return of the Lloigor", published in Arkham House's Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos. The protagonist of "Return" is Professor Paul Lang of the University of Virginia. A literary acquaintance of his asks him to acquire a photocopy of the Voynich Manuscript, which is being kept at the University of Pennsylvania [2]. While Lang is making the copy, he meets a photographer who has taken a color photo of the manuscript. The professor notices that some faint lines are now showing up, and he commissions photographs of the entire manuscript, filling in the areas where the ink has worn away. He soon discovers that the book is written in Arabic – or rather, Greek and Latin written in the Arabic alphabet. (A glance at the characters from the Voynich Manuscript will show that this is impossible, but as this is fiction, Wilson can be allowed some leeway.) When he finishes, he finds that he has discovered that the book was written by a "Martin Gardener" and is both "a complete scientific account of the universe" and "a typical mediaeval mélange of magic, theology, and pre-Copernican speculation". I leave you to guess its title.

WOLD NEWTON UNIVERSE
WOLD NEWTON UNIVERSE

The Wold Newton Family is a group of heroic and villainous literary figures that science fiction author Philip José Farmer postulated belonged to the same genetic family. Some of these characters are adventurers, some are detectives, some explorers and scientists, some espionage agents, and some are evil geniuses.
According to Mr. Farmer, the Wold Newton family originated when a radioactive meteor landed in Wold Newton, England, in the year 1795 (click here to see a monument to the event). The radiation caused a genetic mutation in those present, which endowed many of their descendants with extremely high intelligence and strength, as well as an exceptional capacity and drive to perform good, or, as the case may be, evil deeds.
Popular characters that Philip José Farmer concluded were members of the Wold Newton mutant family include: Solomon Kane; Captain Blood; The Scarlet Pimpernel; Harry Flashman; Sherlock Holmes and his nemesis Professor Moriarty (aka Captain Nemo); Phileas Fogg; The Time Traveler; Allan Quatermain; Tarzan and his son Korak; A.J. Raffles; Professor Challenger; Richard Hannay; Bulldog Drummond; the evil Fu Manchu and his adversary, Sir Denis Nayland Smith; G-8; The Shadow; Sam Spade; Doc Savage, his cousin Pat Savage, and one of his five assistants, Monk Mayfair; The Spider; Nero Wolfe; Mr. Moto; The Avenger; Philip Marlowe; James Bond; Lew Archer; and Travis McGee.

A Very Scary Solstice:

The CD
We returned to the studio with a bigger-than-ever cast of actors and professional singers. Thrill to the magnificent sounds of the Dagon Tabernacle Choir. Marvel at the exsquisite harmonies of the Arkham Carolers. Tap your tentacles along with the Dunwich Children's Chorale. All twenty-five numbers are professionally produced and recorded with the same maniacal care that made A Shoggoth on the Roof such a disturbing achievement in musical theatre. From beatific choirs to maniacal mariachis, there's something for everyone in this first-ever CD of Lovecraftian Solstice Carols.

The Song Book
In 1988 the HPLHS published its first collection of holiday songs rewritten to include the dark forces lurking at the boundaries of perception. This year we expanded the collection to a full twenty-five songs. In addition to providing the lyrics in an easy sing-along format, we've also extensively annotated the lyrics. Learn the strange stories behind favorite holiday carols and relish in bizarre tidbits of Lovecraftian holiday ephemera. The songbook includes a preface by the esteemed Lovecraft scholar S.T. Joshi who shares HPL's personal thoughts about the holidays.

From the mail-bag
Sender asks: I recently heard a story regarding Stewart Swerdlow and a woman who is refered to as "Pinky". As I understand this story, Swerldlow claims that this woman, a handler for the Illuminati, forced him into an extra-marital affair and may have even facilitated some sort of Illuminati-Satanic ritula abuse. According to the story, this all occurred after Stewart Swerdlow was released from prison for check fraud and embezzlement, which he claims was a set- up perpetrated by the Illuminati. Also, this is all somehow tied into the Montauk Project and the Philadelphia Experiement stories. I am a bit confused by all of this and would appreciate any guidance.

Reply: First, let us say, as a blanket statement that although Sky Books, which is the publisher of the Montauk Project lore is also the publisher of the Ong's Hat print edition, no one here, including the author of the aforementioned work has any connection to the Montauk Project, nor do we condone or condemn the Montauk Project mythos or it's validity, including the participants, supporters or detractors or any other assorted idiots.. However, a recent deluge of requests to give a position on the Montauk Project/Philadelphia Experiement saga and a recent debunking campaign launched against it has motivated this reply.

To answer your Pinky question: If that’s what he told his wife and she buys it, who are you to question his explanation? Let’s not delve into a Monica, Bill and Hillary style debate here. Also, this is not the place for such discourse. I am sure that there are plenty of web boards, chat groups and contact forms available out there where you can delve into such questions and find hoards of like minded individuals to endlessly debate and deconstruct this and other similar subjects to your little minds content, further clogging up the search engines with useless drivel and further rendering the Internet useless as a resource for anything other than talk show soap operatics. Knock yourself out. I'm sure you can all dig up and kick around REAMS of information posted in various places, by super-secret gotta hide from the 'gubment' sources. To get more to the point, "We don't give a aerial intercourse on an oscillating pastry either way. Why do you?"

While it is true that a few former MP/PE supporters have recently turned tail (or tale as the case may be) and have decided to become vocal public opponents of this work (in our minds) of fiction we will not join in this nay-saying routine, mainly because we have firsthand knowledge that all of the elements involved in the current carnival of name calling are doing so out of very petty, personal and quite normal, human motivations. There is no Cointelpro, Back-Ops, MIB, Reptilian, Illuminati, Interdimensional-Neo-Nazi conspiracy afoot here. Keep in mind that in the so called community of "Conspiracy Theorists" there exists the predilection to hurl accusations of secret government, alien, satanic connections, et al, at those which said accusers have a very mundane, human, 3D beef with. We also know that there are many sides to each story and in most cases, those that throw a lot of these stones not only live in glass houses but seem to be pathologically unaware of it (the terms self destruction program and unconscious death wish come to mind). Keep in mind that more times than not, the accused have done nothing more than refused to join or acquiesce to the belief systems of the accusers Scientology flavored cult "start-up" and that the public versus the private positions of some of the individuals involved are deep and wide in their disparity. Often times these attitudes take on the appearance of a public "brand" which pretends at open mindedness, while secretly a bait and switch awaits any who are foolish enough to venture in too far. Like most cults (Scientology is only one example) those who wish to leave pose a threat to this public posture and must be discredited and disposed of through any means possible. We'd also like to add that we find it very amusing that certain of these debunkers are now apparently trying to hold up other debunkers as examples of their "correctness" (one could say attempting to sidle up to them or to test the waters of recruiting their enemies enemy as their friends). The very debunkers that one camp is now attempting to virtually befriend, have in the past, quite frequently, expressed in writing, a disdain in the most vitriolic fashion possible for said befrienders, in some of the most colorful and detailed fashions one could imagine. Likewise, and visa versa, and snakes swallowing their tails ( tales). Other times, acute and unique observation techniques have shown that the same person or persons (terms used loosely) may be instigating a feud between two parties where none really exists, simply for perverse observational pleasure. Whatever the reasons, these entities seem to be oblivious to warning shots that may come in the form of aberrant body growths in symbolic areas or giant rings of fire that have all been conjured on the behalf of gaining their attention.

Bear in mind that the Internet is a place of relative anonymity and therefore some people who feel protected by the cloud of said anonymity will proceed along a path of behavior that they might otherwise not pursue if the spotlight of identity were suddenly shined upon them. Using web boards, commercial anonymous email gateways, etc. has become the past time of some who would try to make it appear that “someone else” is asking questions out of innocent motivations, while in fact, it is usually one or two people trying to invoke a false dialectic in which to fabricate a dialogue that is in fact nothing more than an monologue. Some of you out there know only too well that many here in our silent majority are fully capable of discovering the exact identity of those who clumsily attempt to play poor man’s James Bond in our metaphorical backyard.

Also, remember that the rule of mob (especially on the Internet) seems to be that people will tend believe the first thing they read and that's what sticks, even when evidence to the contrary is presented later. Some of these so-called "investigators" seek to capitalize on that factor, meaning in essence that they underestimate your intelligence. If people are in fact so lacking in critical thinking facilities that they do indeed fall victim to such borrowed and hackneyed intel tactics (creation of the false dialectic and such), then we feel that those such as ourselves actually benefit from taking a pass on consorting with them. So, in a strange sort of way, these entities act as filters for those of us that would strive to rise above the level of sheep, throw off the herd mentality, and pass go (burning the $200 in the process) skipping up the mountain of self-knowledge, goat style.

However, each to their own belief system, right? So, if you truly feel that smart mobs are a device to enslave us into a control system of worshiping our Reptilian overlords (this has actually been suggested by one of these wags), etc., fare thee well. We may suggest that if you truly want to explore the depths of your own insanity (mindsets outside of consensus realities), why follow another persons or groups particular corridor? Why not be a true explorer and blaze your own trail? Just a thought. If you, like us, know some of the TRUE secrets of the Illuminati, we suggest you hang around the library and bone up on your skills, because the battle lines have been drawn and it is getting close to the time to fish or cut bait. Here’s another nugget for you to chew on: Since we ARE the Illuminati (just ask the Wingmakers and Sean David Morton) and someone claims to have worked for us, yet we have no recollection or record of them ever having been employed by us, what does that say? Again, just a thought. ;)

Any further questions coming into this site regarding the Montauk Project, Montauk Boys, Reptilian Hunters, Time Traveling Alien-Wingmaker-Messianic-Ouija Board Wielding, ex-Illuminati, Royalist, Nazi, Monarch, Sock-Puppet, basket weavers or their equally distasteful detractors will be summarily ignored.

Thank You,

The Management

Specularium Web
Specularium Web

The following pages of the Specularium website promote the hypothesis that 3-Dimensional time has strong explanatory power in several fields of fundamental physics, and that it may offer a key to an ultimate Theory of Everything describing a universe both finite and unbounded in both space and time.

The pages explain that 3-dimensional time does not really conflict with the way that we actually experience time, but that the common insistence on a 1-Dimensional view of time makes it more difficult to understand our universe.

The first page, Hyperwarp 6D attempts to explain High Energy Physics, the science of fundamental particles, in terms of spins in 3 dimensions of time and 3 dimensions of space. For the non-physicist this page may prove challenging. A number of notable physics professors have looked at it and basically described it as a 'longshot' in need of more maths, without entirely dismissing it. The hypothesis does make a number of predictions within near-future experimental capability. The Confirmation page notes supporting evidence that has recently become available.

The remaining pages speculate upon the implications of 3-Dimensional time in Cosmology and Quantum Physics.

I welcome collaboration with anyone with an interest in fundamental physics and skills in mathematics.

Peter J Carroll.

an excerpt:

For I am the first and the last.
I am the honored one and the scorned one.
I am the whore and the holy one.
I am the wife and the virgin.
I am and the daughter.
I am the members of my mother.
I am the barren one
and many are her sons.
I am she whose wedding is great,
and I have not taken a husband.
I am the midwife and she who does not bear.
I am the solace of my labor pains.
I am the bride and the bridegroom,
and it is my husband who begot me.
I am the mother of my father
and the sister of my husband
and he is my offspring.
I am the slave of him who prepared me.
I am the ruler of my offspring.
But he is the one who begot me before the time on a birthday.
And he is my offspring in (due) time,
and my power is from him.
I am the staff of his power in his youth,
and he is the rod of my old age.
And whatever he wills happens to me.
I am the silence that is incomprehensible
and the idea whose remembrance is frequent.
I am the voice whose sound is manifold
and the word whose appearance is multiple.

The Black Madonna
The Black Madonna

The Cult of the Magdalen, forced underground, is linked to the Cult of the Black Madonna, which thrived in France and elsewhere in Europe. There has been much speculation as to the origin of the Madonna's blackness. One link is to Sarah "The Black Queen," believed to be the child of Mary Magdalen, brought out of Egypt. The town of Les-Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in southern France still celebrates her festival (B). Other links are scriptural, such as to the bride in the Song of Songs: "I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem" (Song of Solomon 1:5, B,C *), or to the deposed Davidic princes of Jerusalem: "now their appearance is blacker than soot, they are unrecognized in the streets" (Lamentations 4:8, B). One of Mary Magdalen's most prominent shrines, at Chartres, centered around a statue named "Our Lady Under The Earth" (B, p. 79). This also emphasizes her hidden aspect.

In the Realm of the Ring Lords
In the Realm of the Ring Lords(pt-1)

To maintain its persecution of the Grail dynasts and heretics, the Church made sure it subverted the stories that would keep the true Grail legacy alive among the people.

In the old scheme of things, kingship was automatic because it was an alchemical inheritance which, in practice, had nothing to do with ruling over anyone or anywhere. By virtue of an illegal dictate, however, monarchies were brought under Church control and the magical Realm of the Ring Lords was supplanted by the material and territorial reigns of the papal kings.

One might ask why this was allowed to happen. Why did no one stand up for the legacy of the Holy Grail? Well, the fact is, they did; the Cathars did, the Knights Templars did, the Rosicrucians did. Indeed, any number of gnostic groups and fraternities did, and it was this open support which led to the hideous tortures and executions of the papal Inquisitions and witch-hunts that persisted through so many generations.

The Ouroboros (as detailed in Genesis of the Grail Kings) was a symbol of wholeness, unity and eternity, usually identified by a serpent (in the form of a ring) clutching its own tail. With a cross positioned beneath the ring, the emblem becomes the familiar device of the female - the Venus symbol (as portrayed on the cover of Genesis of the Grail Kings). Alternatively, with a cross positioned above the ring, it becomes the masculine Orb of sovereign regalia. And with the cross positioned within the ring, it becomes emblematic of the Holy Grail itself - identified as the Dew Cup, or the Rosi-crucis.

The Stargate-traveling Transhuman

The galaxy may be in for a rude awakening. A device that can drill holes in space that take us from point A to point B is no longer a sci-fi fantasy. Each day now we move closer to designing the pipeline (or lifeline) that will take humanity into the galaxy. We are 50 years (or less given a twist of fate) away from opening the throat of a stargate or wormhole large enough for the first human to enter. Next time you find yourself wondering why we're so excited about re-engineering the human body think about stargates. The current, interim, human body will not survive entering the wormhole as portrayed in movies. Only the transhuman will have at the greatest discovery in human history

The Science Behind Dim Mak
Dim mak (death touch)  is an ancient martial art that consists of striking certain points on the body to cause illness or death. The points are usually called dim mak points, but they are also referred to as vital points and pressure points. The majority of these points correspond to the same locations as acupuncture points. Dim mak is an extremely dangerous martial art, which can cause a great deal of damage to the human body. The effects of attacking the dim mak points include knockout, death, and a delayed death. Many have seen videotapes and seminars where a subject looses consciousness after being struck on certain points. Although this is a very dramatic demonstration method, it could have dangerous consequences.

Hyperdimensional Physics
Hyperdimensional Physics

an excerpt:

The introduction in 1854 by Georg Bernard Riemann the idea of hyperspace, i.e. the description and possibility of “higher, unseen dimensions”, a fundamental assault on the 2000-year old assumptions of Euclid’s The Elements -- the ordered, rectilinear laws of ordinary three dimensional reality. “In its place, Riemann proposed a four-dimensional reality (of which our 3-D reality was merely a ‘subset’), in which the geometric rules were radically different, but also internally self-consistent. Even more radical: Riemann proposed that the basic laws of nature in 3-space, the three mysterious forces then known to physics -- electrostatics, magnetism and gravity -- were all fundamentally united in 4-space, and merely ‘looked different’ because of the resulting ‘crumpled geometry’ of our three-dimensional reality...” In lieu of Newton’s “action-at-a-distance theories, Riemann was proposing that all such apparent forces were the result of objects moving through three dimensions, but distorted by an intruding geometry of 4-space.

FRACTAL CHAOS The Philosophy of Freedom & Self Determination
FRACTAL CHAOS-The Philosophy of Freedom & Self Determination

The Universe is governed by laws, but the laws are of a different kind than previously thought. Like the common law system, the Laws of Wisdom are inherently flexible. They are not written in stone, they are general. They leave infinite room for creativity within certain general parameters. A few fundamental principals exist to establish the parameters, but the Law governs much more loosely than previously thought. The Laws are subject to changes and modifications over time and depend upon the particular facts. Like the common law, the Laws of Nature appear to have flexibility; many things are decided on a case by case basis. Self organization is the rule, not the exception. Everything is not pre-determined by a rigid and complex system of detailed laws which specify exactly how everything works. There is no detailed blueprint of the universe, just a general set of Laws.

In the words of physicist Paul Davies in his book The Cosmic Blueprint (1988):

There is no detailed blueprint, only a set of laws with an inbuilt facility for making interesting things happen. The universe is free to create itself as it goes along. The general pattern of development is "predestined", but the details are not. Thus, the existence of intelligent life at some stage is inevitable; it is, so to speak, written into the laws of nature. But man as such is far from preordained.

MP3 Recordings of Mae Brussell
MP3 Recordings of Mae Brussell

Mae Brussell Bio

1922 - 1988
Born in Beverly Hills 1922, Mae Brussell was the daughter of prominent Wilshire Boulevard Temple Rabbi Edgar Magnin and great-granddaughter of Isaac Magnin, founder of the I. Magnin clothing stores.
By the time President Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 Mae was married with five kids. Dissatisfied with the Warren Commission's conclusion on the assassination, she bought the 26 volume Warren Commission Hearings and began reading, filing, and cross-indexing. With the massive addition of books, articles, and government documents, Mae not only found connections to the CIA and Germany, but began to see relationships to many other current and past events throughout the world. Mae began to observe a "shift of power" that the United States is experiencing. Most anything Americana was being infiltrated, raped, murdered, infected, poisoned, or deregulated. She also saw connections and patterns indicating that many of the influential rock musicians and Hollywood personalities were being killed. As Mae stated at the University of California in Santa Cruz: "What is happening to us is a classical case of totally destroying us. And [by] the same people who've been at the top doing it since World War Two."
In June of 1971, after seven years of research and now living in Carmel, California, Mae appeared as a guest on KLRB, a local FM radio station independently owned by Mr. and Mrs. Bob and Gloria Baron. Mae discussed her views on political assassinations and the New York Times release of the Pentagon Papers. The response was so good she became a regular weekly guest and before too long had her own show Dialogue: Conspiracy. (She later changed the name to World Watchers International hoping it would spread like Weight Watchers did.) Almost every week for seventeen years Mae shared with her audience her voluminous daily research in her rapid-fire, no-holds-barred style.
In addition to Mae's close friends and weekly listeners, she corresponded and networked with such people as Jim Garrison, Col. L. Fletcher Prouty, and Larry Flynt. Her first published article in Paul Krassner's The Realist was actually financed by John Lennon. And Frank Zappa once gave her a computer for filing and cross-indexing her research. (But she never used it.)
There were times when death threats drove Mae off the air: once by Charles Manson family member Sandra Good in September 1975. Sometimes Mae resorted to recording her shows at home on her small cassette tape recorder and privately mailed out copies to her subscribers.
Many of the articles Mae wrote tackled subjects that to this day remain unparalleled by anyone in the United States. The epitome of Mae's journalism "The Nazi Connection to the John F. Kennedy Assassination" appeared in Larry Flynt's premiere issue of Rebel magazine in November 1983.
Her countless list of German and White Russian fascist fingerprints to President Kennedy's assassination reached its peak in May of 1988 when she discovered the name "Adolf (H.) Schicklgruber" handwritten in Marina Oswald's notebook of poetry in the Warren Commission exhibits.
In 1983 Mae's show was picked up by listener-sponsored KAZU FM in nearby Pacific Grove. Five years later she was forced off the air, for the last time, from death threats but continued sending out her weekly tapes to subscribers until June 13, 1988 (tape #862).
Mae died of cancer on October 3rd of that year. She was 66.

MP3 recordings of Mae Brussell's broadcasts are now available. 23 hours of MP3 audio will fit on each CD. Simply e-mail us (or snail mail) your list of the broadcasts you would like.

I want to live forever
I want to live forever

Cynthia Kenyon thinks we can have it all: health, wealth, hordes of children - and a long life. A very long life. She disagrees with prevailing ideas that we can only live longer by paying a high price in terms of reduced fertility or a sluggish metabolism. What made this professor of biochemistry and biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco, so sure? A little worm. James Kingsland was keen to discover the secret

an excerpt:
What makes you think we can cheat nature, increasing human lifespan without having to pay some kind of price?

Longevity is evolvable. The common precursor to worms, flies, mice and humans was a very simple, short-lived animal. And to get from a worm to a human you have increased lifespan a thousandfold. This happened by changes in genes, which tells you that every time there is a change in DNA that increases lifespan, there doesn't have to be some horrible trade-off - because it's been happening throughout evolution. This whole idea that there is always a trade-off is nonsense.

The Grail Under the Double Rainbow:Further Speculations on the Secrets of the Templars, The Inklings, Nikola Tesla, and Rennes-le-Chateau
The Grail Under the Double Rainbow:Further Speculations on the Secrets of the Templars, The Inklings, Nikola Tesla, and Rennes-le-Chateau

On another site of this page, I've put forth comments and speculations on the nature of the "Mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau" and the Templars, largely in response to having had only the most casual glimpse into the matter. So far, I have nothing to take back, but in looking more deeply into things, I have more of the same to say.

I've had the privilege since the creation of that page, of reading "The Secrets of Rennes-le-Chateau" by Lionel and Fanthorpe, and inevitably, if it hasn't been illuminating, it's certainly been inspiring. It's also encouraging that the Fanthorpes do a careful and remarkably detailed job, and a job which includes their departure from the main premises of Baigent and Lincoln's best-known works, a gesture in harmony with my own discouragement against mistakenly thinking the "treasure" of Rennes-le-Chateau is some clue to living blood descendants of Jesus Christ (or that it is gold) as opposed to consisting of a link to ancient knowledge which facilitates the fulfillment of many of the promises of the Bible and the Biblical figure.

In the same spirit, what follows here are a few thoughts and observations.

So far, all of the material I have encountered dramatically understates the familiarity, and the signs of it, of the "Inklings", J.R.R. Tolkien, Charles Williams, and C. S. Lewis, with both magick and science, and the same is true of their comrade, George MacDonald.

For what it is worth, here is the text of the webpage that gave birth to this one, before I laid eyes on Lionel and Particia Fanthorpes' "Secrets of Rennes-le-Chateau", based only on the material on Steve Mizrach's web page; having long abandoned magickal fiction as a superfluous luxury, with the bookshelves already straining under the weight of non-fiction works, as I wrote these words, I never dreamed of what I would soon find.

"Three Rings For the Elven Kings": The Templar, Tolkien? I shouldn't jump to conclusions... well, at least not without being willing to back down from any ridiculous place it gets me... At any rate, hardly being an expert, I'm still waiting for the book to arrive that will tell me more than the snippets that are hardly enough to be basing an opinion on... On the other hand, having read that there's some possibility that J.R.R. Tolkien, the author of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, may have had close involvement with the Prieure de Sion, it's on the verge of plauging my sleep what any tangible evidence of this might be, at least in the form of such an affiliation being discernible from his actual works.

The Gospel of Thomas Homepage
The Gospel of Thomas Homepage:

The Avatar Jesus said, "If you bring forth what is within you, what you have will save you. If you do not have that within you, what you do not have within you [will] kill you."

From Publishers Weekly:
"In this majestic new book, Pagels (author of The Gnostic Gospels) ranges panoramically over the history of early Christianity, demonstrating the religion's initial tremendous diversity and its narrowing to include only certain texts supporting certain beliefs. At the center of her book is the conflict between the gospels of John and Thomas. Reading these gospels closely, she shows that Thomas offered readers a message of spiritual enlightenment. Rather than promoting Jesus as the only light of the world, Thomas taught individuals that 'there is a light within each person, and it lights up the whole universe. If it does not shine, there is darkness."

Ask Bishop T Allen Greenfield
Ask Bishop T Allen Greenfield

You have reached a site where we do not believe that there are "easy answers" to the Great Questions. As our English long-time associate Ian Blake recently put it so well, upon the death of his father, "Against the dead weight of human mortality, bereavement & grief, occultism seems an inadequate response." When all is said and done, we agree. Through a glass, darkly, all we can do is relate what we see amd how we understand such. Hopefully, it is not without merit. For me, it all began at the same time. There were even earlier glimpses as to what direction my life would be going, but as a kid in 1960 I began to take a furious intense interest in the metaphysical, inexplicable phenomena; religion and spirituality; unconventional history; paranormal research; social and political activism. It was an all-at-once sort of thing. I had visited New Orleans a few months earlier, and had been struck by the unconventional intertwining of eroticism and death-- of rot-ridden red light districts and great, gothic cemeteries. It was a shock to my system, and from that point on the common denominator in my interests has always been the search for an alternative to, or reconciliation of, this dichotomy. Two years later, I set off on a 5000 ton freighter on what amounted to a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, and a search for truth among the ruins of early Western Civilization. I was all of sixteen.

T Allen Greenfield, 2002 E.V.

Rhythmodynamics - Science of the Future
The problem of the ether and the problem of motion are still waiting for solution. About ninety years ago the ether was treated, to put it mildly, unfairly - it was just thrown away onto a dust-heap of "unnecessary ideas". But time passed, and descendants of those who had acted hastily came to a deadlock - the crisis continues to make itself felt. It looks like none of the descendants wishes to dig into the ether dust-heap. So, most of them are waiting for a messiah who will instigate a revolution yet who will change nothing at the same time. Unfortunately, it never happens.

Nevertheless, followers of those, who did not give up the idea of ether existence till their last days, remain too. The time has come, and the aether medium once having thought to be unnecessary now reasserts itself through new discoveries. So, the question is legitimate: Is misguided science ready to sacrifice its ambition to finally look into and understand the true nature of the ether? To do it, it is necessary to forget at least temporarily all the theories which appeared after 1900 and to see why everything has happened exactly in this way.

The Friends of Arthur Machen
The Friends of Arthur Machen

Perhaps by now you are wondering...
...Who was Arthur Machen?
He was a writer of fantastic and supernatural fiction.

He was a leading practitioner of the decadence of 1890s London.

His tales of supernatural horror explored darkly pagan themes.

His novel The Hill of Dreams is perhaps the finest exploration ever written of the theme of the accursed artist.

His 1914 short story The Bowmen gave rise to the World War One legend of The Angels of Mons.

His writing powerfully evokes both the wildness of his native Wales, and the phantasmagorical sublimity of late Victorian London.

In his essays and journalism he was a ceaseless propagandist against economic and scientific materialism

Machen's work, both fiction and non-fiction, enjoyed high prestige both in Britain and America in the early part of this century, but the rise of modernist taste in fiction led to something of an eclipse of his reputation. Many today have come to his writing by chance, through an interest in horror and the supernatural, or in the writers of the 1890s, and have come to believe he should be recognized as a canonical writer, his reputation equal to that of currently more famous contemporaries such as Arthur Conan Doyle and Robert Louis Stevenson. The Friends Of Arthur Machen is a fellowship which exists to foster interest in Machen and his work, to aid research, and for the pleasure of its members.

Erik Davis' figments & inklings
Erik Davis' figments & inklings

Perhaps your roving eyeballs are drawn to the dinosaur technology of text, to what the suits call content, to what some of us think of as the point of it all. If so, you might enjoy this humble page of Figments and Inklings, penned -- or rather QWERTYed -- by Erik Davis. They are Figments because they are generally inbetwixt and inbetween -- not quite journalism, not quite cultural criticism, not quite flights of fancy. They are Inklings because they gesture forward and beyond: to other worlds, other concepts, other possible selves. Most of all, I suppose they are essays, if you recall that essay means an attempt, a perpetual weighing of things, always on the fly.

Global Networks: The art of Marc Lombardi

In these works, solid and broken lines, circles and squiggles enmesh the names of organizations and individuals in webs of often surprising interconnections. One drawing charts the workings of the Vatican Bank, in the process linking its directors to the Mafia and the illegal transport of firearms.

Another purports to show how Iraq was armed in the 1980's through a secret scheme supposedly involving the top levels of the American and British governments and Italy's largest bank, the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. Yet another follows the course by which the Bank of Commerce and Credit, International (B.C.C.I.) was accused of having become a funnel for a variety of illegal operations, including laundering drug money, supporting the Iran-Contra operation and backing Afghan Mujahedeen fighters. Vampire subculture (and vampire-related murders) growing

Blood from a slit in his victim's throat trickled into a small cup. Allan Menzies raised the vessel to his lips. Convinced he was on the brink of immortality, the 22-year-old killer was attempting to fulfil a sick dream: to become a vampire.

The chilling murder of Thomas McKendrick in a small Scottish village was brutal and ritualistic. He was sacrificed to satisfy a lust for blood and an obsession with the occult. Yet his killer's fixation with bloodsuckers is far from unusual. Vampirism is a rapidly growing youth cult and its followers are increasing in numbers.

Vampire films and magazines are thriving, while specialist shops meet the outlandish clothing requirements of those who fantasise about being Dracula. In cities throughout the UK, vampire societies meet on a weekly basis and act out scenes from their favourite movies.

In the future we will all be superheroes
Could the Incredible Hulk ever really exist? Is the world likely to see a very large green man with immense powers? Might Superman, Batman, Spider-man, Antman or Aquaman ever swoop down to rescue those of us in distress?

Well, yes, some of them could, it seems. Professor Jim Kakalios, who is working on a new book on the science of superheroes for Gotham Books, of course says that some of the powers dreamt up by comic book writers 70 years ago are now a theoretical possibility.

Alternative 3
Alternative 3

Alternative One - elimination of a huge portion of world population.
They are in the process of doing that. If they are not able to execute THE PLANsome population thinning will be blamed on acts of terrorism.

Alternative Two - to build many underground bunkers, as large as small towns, to protect the government in seclusion until the surface population thinning was finished.
They have built over 200 such "underground cities". (Mt. Weather)

Alternative Three - to build a "transfer station" on the backside of the Moon, build an underground base on Mars and remove a certain limited "Noah's Ark" cross section of Earth's population, artists, scientists, engineers, writers, etc., to Mars as a survival colony in the event of "catastrophy" on Earth.
They started this project in 1961 and may have accomplished most of this as well.

Watch the movie and make up your own mind.
53 minutes divided into parts.

Sniff This

Sniffy-pooh

MissTifEye sez: The beguiling quirkiness of Paul Ash's writings and performances come through brilliantly in his website. Paul's zine-style print projects, e-books, & paperbacks feature his own work, including the just-released compendium, "What I Think About When I Go to the Job." Other writers and artists are published on the Sniffy Linings website, an uber-cute experience glued together by dreamy quotes from musicians.

Ong's Hat: The Beginning
"I got really into this "time-travel cult" called Ong's Hat when a computer-game programmer I know told me she was contacted by a physics scholar who said that a bunch of her recent games reflected their canon. This dude told my friend that someone from Ong's Hat had befriended her and inspired her to create certain games without her realizing it. Whoa, right?" - Jane Magazine
