Welcome to Andy Kaufman Lives .com. As the URL suggests this site is for the express purpose of sharing my opinion that Andy Kaufman faked his death in 1984. Although the name of the site implies that I believe Andy Kaufman is alive, that is not necessarily true. For all I know Andy Kaufman got hit by a bus in 1985 and is no longer among us, but I do not believe he died as reported in the papers. It is not my intention to upset or anger anyone. If you will be upset or angered by discussion of Andy Kaufman faking his death, please do not go any further. Funny, I wonder how many people are under the misapprehension that 'right' means 'a freedom' when really it means 'Conforming with or conformable to justice, law, or morality'

"Chartiers Township police Chief James Horvath said he couldn't believe what he was hearing: an audio recording of a man encouraging his 10-year-old stepson to kill his 4-year-old brother.

David Winniewicz, 36, of 130 Poplar Court, Houston, was arrested Wednesday on charges including criminal solicitation to commit homicide for making the audiotape and playing it as the 10-year-old slept, in an apparent attempt to plant a subliminal message in the boy's mind.

CBS donates heavily to the Republicans. The White House is on the verge of signing into law a deal which Senator John McCain (R-AZ) says is custom-tailored for CBS and Fox, enabling them to grow larger. And CBS refuses to allow MoveOn.org's advertisement against Bush to air during the Superbowl. (They turned down PETA, too, and even though I'd rather eat a raw, non-organically-raised steak from Washington than join those guys, they also deserve the right to advertise to the beer & pretzel sucking masses.)

I'm not the only one who thinks this just ain't right. Today around 4:30 pm I called up Portland CBS affiliate KOIN-TV. A beleaguered-sounding receptionist told me that she's been receiving about 40 calls every hour complaining about this issue. Keep calling, kids!Here's the online petition and the full scoop.
