The Abu Sayyaf was "founded by an Afghan professor named Abdul Rasul Abu Sayyaf," in the CIA's Afghanistan "jihad" of the 1980's. Abdul Rab Rasool Sayyaf was a Northern Alliance leader! "Professor Sayyaf, chief of the Ittehad-i-Islami Afghanistan...was a part of the anti-Taliban Northern Alliance" a US ally in 2001 Afghan operations.
Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) training camps in Albania were "run by Osama bin Laden, and various other foreign mujahedeen" and also by the "CIA and British intelligence...while the CIA seems to have provided monetary support....."
