A Voyage Into Trance
(Hypnotic/Dragonfly)
If you're
not spending over 80% of your waking hours listening to psychedelic
trance, but would like to own some of the good stuff, then this
is the CD for you. It's got some of the biggest and best names,
including Prana, Slinky Wizard, Hallucinogen, plus a bunch of
Dragonfly's finest. Put it on, turn it up loud very loud
and get on with your life. You'll end up understanding
why 80% is the absolute minimum you should spend listening to
this stuff... O yeah and perhaps I should mention, it's all mixed
very competently by a limey DJ who knows his stuff.

Hypnotic Journey
(Hypnotic)
O dear. This
is one that you really can judge by the cover: the guy looks like
he can't work out whether he's Johnny Rotten or Hari-bloody-Krishna,
and the music he's chosen is much the same. With the exception
of a couple of tracks notably Astralasia's "Special World"
the music is tepid and/or weak. Each track seems to start
off with some promise and then fades into mush. Don't bother.
