About SIGNUM
SIGNUM is a webzine exploring media, method, and meaning. Take that as you will. We take it to mean everything from pop culture to psychology, technology to art ... sometimes we'll rant Internet-style, other times offer up thoughtful interviews or offhanded commentary. We may even foam academically at the mouth. We wanna play with cultural relics as they're created, and examine how our culture works, how we communicate with each other why we communicate, build things, make art. SIGNUM is also a printed anthology which will exist in that place we like to call the Future.
Originally, Vince X. Potenza made SIGNUM, an online 'zine designed in PDF form. It's quite lovely and I recommend checking out the archives (see our Catacombs link). VXP is now our Patron Saint, and SLM-Net is our host and benefactor. A heap o' thanks to them!
I'd ramble on, but perhaps it's better to let the new, relaunched 'zine unfold at its own pace instead of trying to babble about it ... do < SIGN UP > to receive email updates when new issues go up. Don't worry, we won't sell or barter your email address to anyone else; it's confidential and will only be used for SIGNUM announcements.

This is the place to send review items: books, CDs, viddys, toys, 'zines and whatnot. Please don't send a press release about something without sending the item itself. Hate that. Also, please email us first before sending DVDs or any Macintosh-unfriendly software–we may ask that you send those directly to a reviewer.
